Characteristics
(1) Good cold, hot processing, welding and casting properties.
(2) Mechanical properties can be improved through heat treatment, tensile strength up to 1100~1300MPa.
(3) Corrosion resistance is better than 400 series stainless steel;In most environments, corrosion resistance is comparable to 304;In [TJC STAINLESS]petrochemical industry, food industry, paper industry and other industries, corrosion resistance is the same as 304L grade;In the Marine environment, the 630 is easy to be corroded by seawater and is only suitable for offshore platform.
(4)At a temperature up to 316 C, the corrosion resistance and mechanical properties remain good.
Applications
630 stainless steel is suitable for medium corrosion resistance or super high strength applications, such as: aerospace industrial [TJC STAINLESS]parts, nuclear industrial equipment, food processing equipment, chemical processing equipment, petroleum refining equipment, mold parts, etc.
